All I can say is wow. The world has officially lost their mind. I haven’t though, so here’s why you should leave the toilet paper on the shelf (seriously, you don’t need THAT much) and why you should start browsing for some safety pins.
I’m a sucker for a good event, but it’s not because of the food, the drinks and the photo opportunities. When you’re at a PR event, it’s so nice to see the people behind the event, to say thank you and the sense of community at the event. I can’t explain it, it’s just… nice. Last week I attended the Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum event hosted by the beautiful people at Red Havas PR.
WHY was there an event for Sailor Jerry??
I turned up an hour early to Soundcloud x Monkey Shoulders event ft. Alice Ivy, to see Alice jamming out on her guitar and doing a soundcheck while the crew all dash around her placing out all the final touches of the event.
A couple of weeks ago I stopped by Coote Connex (a PR agency) to say hey to the beautful ladies that worked there and get the heads up on what’s new and exciting!
Never have I EVER had an issue with my skin. Not ONCE. Acne? Nah. The odd pimple? yeah. So imagine my frustration when OUT OF NOWHERE my face gets “Perioral Dermatitis”.
SO.. I’ve recently applied to get my UK passport. Which means, new passport photos were needed.. and i’m pretty sure this face perfectly describes everyones feelings when it comes to passport photos:
Now, not many people know that I have *mixed feelings* about social media. Some days I love it, other days I want to disappear off the face of the earth (on the internet anyway).
I consider myself a pretty lucky person. I have a beautiful family, some pretty great friends, I live in a beautiful city and celebrated the New Year on one of the most iconic harbours in the world!
Happy 2020 everyone! We were a little quiet in January due to Sarah and I working out what we’re doing with Sydney Sisters.
